1. Ticket sales for the lottery will start November 10 with final draw taking place Monday January 5, 2026.

2. The following are not eligible to participate in the 50/50 draw:
• Anyone involved in the conduct and management of the lottery including ticket sellers.
• Persons under the age of 18.

3. Must be in Ontario to purchase tickets.

4. Tickets are:
• 5 for $5.00
• 20 for $10.00
• 100 for $20.00
• 400 for $50.00
• 1000 for $100.00

5. Tickets will be sold using an electronic raffle system supplied by Raffle Nexus, an approved vendor of the AGCO.

6. After buying, patrons will be given a receipt with their 50/50 registered numbers from a Random Selection System. No specific numbers can be given as numbers are generated randomly.

7. The winning ticket numbers will be selected by a Random Number Generation (RNG) system from all raffle numbers sold for the draw.

8. The amount of the 50/50 prize amount will be announced on gbsar.rafflenexus.com .

9. The winning numbers will be announced in one draws: January 5th - Prize 50% of tickets sold.

10. The winner may claim their prize by contacting Georgian Bay Search and Rescue or by email at info@gbvsar.com. The winner will then be paid by cheque for the amount posted at the event for which they bought their ticket. Winners must have the original winning ticket and no copies. All payments will be made by cheque.

11. The total winnings will be awarded. If the winner cannot provide photo ID, then the winning proceeds will be held until such identification can be provided.

12. If no winner comes forward, funds will be held for six months. After that time has elapsed, the prize will be donated to a charity other than the host charity with the approval of the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO).
